Using MESHANTS to Generate
FSS Elements

Frequency Selective Surfaces (FSS) usually consist of small microstrip-like conductors or slots arrange in arrays on dialectric surfaces. Meshants can generate FSS computational grids for electromagnetic analysis. Below are examples of FSS elements. The scripts to generate these can be downloaded here and demostrates creation and use of a library of parameterized parts.

Crossed Dipoles
Hexagonal Loops
Tripoles
Tripole Anchors

Four-Legged Loaded Loops
